Xbox One matches PS4 on Playing Games During Download

Representatives from Microsoft are confirming that, like the PS4, gamers will be able to play their partially downloaded video games while the rest of the game is downloading...

No telling at this point whether the Xbox downloading system will be as sophisticated as Sony's as of yet. During a PS4 demo video we saw that users will have the ability in some games to choose whether the console will download the multiplayer side, or the single player side of the game first, which even as a Microsoft fan, makes my mouth water.

I should say that Microsoft did already confirm that the X1 would have the ability to download the video game information from a disc and allow you to play at the same time no problem. But there was an area of grey surrounding how this would work with digital downloads.

This just goes to show that only 4 months away from the console launches and there is so much we still don't know! And so the console war rages on, all we can do is sit back and watch the fireworks...
